Our lottery

Postcode Animal Trust operates its own society lottery licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission. The lottery is promoted and managed by Postcode Lottery, which is part of the Postcode Lottery Group.

One of the requirements of society lotteries is to publish details on the percentage of the total proceeds of lotteries promoted in the previous calendar year which are applied to purposes for which the society is conducted. In respect of the 2025 calendar year, 32% of the total ticket sales of the Trust’s lotteries were applied to the purposes of the Trust, with 40% paid out as prizes and 28% for lottery running costs. A minimum of 30% will be applied to the purposes of the Trust.
